Soheyl Mottahedeh is the founder of Smart Innovationss a company dedicated to the creation of positive change through grassroots initiatives.
Soheyl is a professional mechanical engineer with 30 years of experience in socio-economic development and Renewable Energies empowering for 13 years in Africa and 7 years in S-E Asia communities to achieve self-sufficiency and self-relaince. As co-founder of the Equicarbon consortium, he is now designing and developing Clean Development Mechanisms to mitigate global climate changes focusing on China.
Soheyl is also a creative inventor with multiple innovations and patents such as the PowerBag System sold in Canada as the Yardworks Leaf Collection System.
In Africa and S-E Asia, Soheyl developed utility trucks and generators running on biomass and implemented rural electrifcation projects including training on how to build micro-hydropower turbines. In Laos he established workshops to recycle army equipment into tractor-based road maintenance equipment
Soheyl's goal is to empower local communities with a vision of collective prosperity and well-being.
